HYDROTHERAPY POOL

A controlled swim in the HYDROTHERAPY POOL will give your dog the ultimate benefit of non weight-bearing exercise and hot water therapy. It has been designed to assist and medically help injured dogs as ‘well as fully fit dogs exercising to maintain peak performance.

The HYDROTHERAPY POOL will be used as rehabilitation for dogs recovering from surgery, suffering with strains, sprains or arthritis and dogs that are overweight, disabled or have poor mobility. Treatment of this kind has been proved invaluable by the veterinary profession.

The fully filtered, 4’ deep heated swimming pool has 2 adjustable anti-swim power jets, which allow the dog to swim against the current and thus provide weightless exercise. The length of the swim time is dependant upon the fitness and capabilities of each dog.

Its ELECTRIC HOIST and harness will assist larger or disabled dogs in and out of the hydropool and for poor swimmers, very nervous or badly injured dogs, buoyancy aids are also provided.

HOT TUB SPA

As with the HYDROTHERAPY POOL, the HOT TUB SPA gives your dog the benefit of hot water therapy. It provides powerful massage and increased blood circulation which promotes the general well being of your dog.

Its combination of 6 powerful therapy jets, heated water and salt is ideal for the treatment of muscular strains, sprains, injuries and arthritis, giving your dog extra mobility and will be used to rehabilitate dogs after orthopedic surgery to help regain muscular fitness and full use of limbs.

The non-slip floor gives confidence to dogs of all shapes and sizes and they will be under constant supervision by our experienced staff who will hold and massage your dog whilst in the water.

WASH DOWN. SHOWER and DRYING FACILITY

This complete facility consists of a large basin unit complete with heated shower, non-slip flooring, benching rings and chains for extra safety and is used for rinsing dogs after treatment.

2 electric dryers, one blaster dryer for large dogs and a floor standing power dryer for smaller dogs are installed in the pool room. These dryers are used to dry the dogs after treatment.
